Getting the PlayerKit App
Get playerkit onto your iPhone through TestFlight, Apple's app for trying out apps before they reach the App Store — the only way to install playerkit right now.
Before you start: an iPhone, and access to the email address your club has on file for you — that's where your invitation will land.
STEP BY STEP
Installing playerkit
A TestFlight build expires from time to time and has to be refreshed. If playerkit stops opening, or TestFlight shows it as expired, open TestFlight and tap Update — it isn't a sign anything is wrong with the app.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Troubleshooting
I never got an invitation email. What do I do?
Ask your club, not the App Store. Invitations come from your club to the email address they have on file for you, and playerkit isn't in the public App Store yet, so searching for it there won't help. Your club can resend the invite or check that they have the right email address for you.
I have an Android phone — where's the app?
Not available yet. playerkit is iPhone-only for now, with no Android release date to share. Everything else in the Help Centre still works the same for you in a browser.
TestFlight says my playerkit build has expired.
Open TestFlight, find playerkit in your list, and tap Update. Test builds are time-limited by Apple — this is expected upkeep, not a bug.
I searched the App Store and couldn't find playerkit.
That's expected — playerkit isn't listed on the App Store yet. TestFlight, through your club's invitation, is the only way in right now.
