Returning Equipment

How returning your child's equipment works at the end of the season on PlayerKit, and how to confirm it actually went through.

Before you start: this covers gear that's already checked out to your child. See Equipment Pickup if you're looking for how to get gear in the first place.

STEP-BY-STEP

Returning your equipment

Step 1

From your account, find the item due back and choose to schedule its return.

Step 2

Pick an open return time. Like pickup, these times are set entirely by your club.

Step 3

Bring the gear at your scheduled time. Staff check it back in on the spot.

Step 4

Watch the status on your account move from On loan to Returned — that's your confirmation it went through.

Need more time? You can request to keep gear past its due date — for a camp, tryout, tournament, personal training, or another reason. Tell your club why and until when; they'll review and decide.

STATUS GUIDE

Confirming it went through

Each item shows its own status, so you always know where things stand:

  • On loan — currently checked out, nothing scheduled yet.
  • Keep requested — you've asked to hold onto it longer; waiting on your club.
  • Return scheduled — you've booked a time to bring it back.
  • Overdue — past its due date with no return booked.
  • Return missed — a scheduled return time came and went.
  • Returned — back with your club. You're done.

CONDITION

If something's damaged or missing

Staff check each item's condition as they scan it back in. If something's damaged or doesn't come back at all, your club will follow up with you directly — and it can affect a deposit if one was tied to that gear. See Club Fees and Refunds for how deposits work.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Troubleshooting

It says "Overdue" or "Return missed."

Either the due date passed with nothing booked, or a booked time came and went. Schedule a new return time, or reach out to your club if you're not sure what's expected.

Can I keep it a bit longer?

Yes — use the request-to-keep option and explain why. Your club makes the call, and a request made after the due date may still be declined, so ask as early as you can.

I returned it, but it still shows "On loan."

The status updates when staff scan the item back in on their end — it isn't automatic the moment you hand it over. If it's been a while, check with your club directly.
