Link a Player to Your Account
Once you're part of your club on PlayerKit, connect yourself to your own child so you can see their gear, schedule, and everything else tied to their profile.
Before you start: you'll need a PlayerKit account already connected to your club. New to PlayerKit? See Join a Club first.
TWO WAYS TO CONNECT
Using a link from your club
If your club sends you a link addressed to your specific child, it's the fastest path:
OR
Entering a player code yourself
Every player has a short code — printed under the QR code on their player card — that looks like pl-XXXX-XXXX. If you have that instead of a link:
Your child isn't showing up, or the code doesn't work? That means they haven't been added to a roster yet — that's a step your club takes, not something you can fix from your side. Ask your club to add your child, then try again.
More than one guardian can connect to the same player. If both parents (or any other guardians) each have their own PlayerKit account, each one connects independently — connecting doesn't remove or affect anyone already linked.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Troubleshooting
"This invitation link is no longer valid."
The link expired or was already used. Ask your club to send a new one.
An expired or already-used sideline invitation link
"No player found with that code."
Double-check you typed the code exactly as printed (it starts with pl-). If you're sure it's right, your club likely hasn't added your child to their roster yet — ask them to add your child first, then try again.
"You're already connected to this player."
Nothing else to do — you're already linked. Check your account to confirm you can see the player.
"You already have a pending request for this player."
Your earlier request is still waiting on your club's review. No need to submit again — you'll be notified once it's approved.
