Resetting Your PlayerKit Password
Reset your PlayerKit password if you've forgotten it or just want to change it.
Before you start: you'll need access to the email inbox for your PlayerKit account.
Steps to reset your password
| 1 | Go to app.playerkit.app/login and click Forgot password? |
| 2 | Enter the email address on your account and click Send reset link. |
The “Forgot your password?” page
| 3 | Check your inbox. If an account matches that email, you'll get a reset link — it expires in 15 minutes. |
| 4 | Click the link in the email — it opens the Set a new password page. |
| 5 | Enter a new password (12–64 characters), confirm it, and click Set new password. |
The “Set a new password” page
You'll be signed out everywhere else. For security, resetting your password signs you out of all your other devices and browsers. Sign back in on this device with your new password.
Troubleshooting
I didn't get the reset email.
Check your spam or junk folder first. Also double-check you typed the exact email address your PlayerKit account uses — for privacy, PlayerKit shows the same “check your inbox” message whether or not an account exists for that email, so a typo won't produce an obvious error. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, go back and request the link again.
"This link is no longer valid."
Your reset link may have expired (they last 15 minutes), already been used, or a newer one was requested since. Go back to Forgot your password? and request a fresh link.
My new password won't save.
Passwords must be between 12 and 64 characters, and the confirmation field must match exactly. Check for extra spaces at the start or end.
I reset my password but now I'm signed out on my phone/other computer.
That's expected — resetting your password signs out every device as a security precaution. Just sign back in there with your new password.
