Creating vs. Joining a PlayerKit Account

PlayerKit accounts get created two different ways, depending on whether you're starting a brand-new club or joining one that's already using PlayerKit.

Starting a brand-new club

Use this path if your club has never used PlayerKit before. It creates your account, your organization, and your first team all at once, and makes you the owner.

1   Go to app.playerkit.app/register (or click Sign up from the sign-in page). Enter your name.
2   Enter your email.
3   Choose a password (12–64 characters).
4   Confirm your password.
5   Enter your organization name — your club or league's name.
6   Click Create account. You're signed in immediately and land on your dashboard's Setup Center.

You may be asked to verify your email with a short code sent to your inbox shortly after creating your account. You can keep setting things up in the meantime — verifying just unlocks a few sensitive actions until it's done.

Joining a club that's already on PlayerKit

You don't sign up separately — your club's admin adds you. Depending on how they invite you, it works one of two ways:

By email invitation

Your admin sends an invite to your email address from their dashboard. Open the email and click the link. If you don't have a PlayerKit account yet, you'll land on Accept your invitation, with your invited email already filled in — enter your name and choose a password, then click Accept and create account. If you already have a PlayerKit account, sign in first and you'll be able to accept the invitation without creating a new one.

By a shared link or QR code

Some clubs share a join link or a QR code instead of individual email invites. Opening it starts a short request — you verify your email with a code, and an admin approves your request before you're added to the team.

Troubleshooting

"This invitation is no longer valid."

The invite link may have already been used, or it's expired. Ask whoever sent it (your club admin) to send a new one — they can't reuse the old link.

"An account already exists for this invited email."

You (or someone) already created a PlayerKit account with that email address. Sign in with that account instead, then accept the invitation — no new account needed.

I don't have an invite and my club already uses PlayerKit.

Don't use Sign up — it creates a brand-new, separate organization. Ask your club's admin to send you an invitation or a join link instead.

I'm not sure if my club is already on PlayerKit.

Check with your club's board, coach, or equipment manager before registering a new organization — a club should only have one PlayerKit organization to avoid split rosters and duplicate data.
